kaja jean (she/they) was born into a family of visual artists and is of estonian and scottish descent. she lived in sicily when she was a teenager, and has canadian, u.k., and estonian (eu) citizenship.
kaja decided to move to new york city when she was nineteen years old to study acting. since then, she has studied at some of the world's top drama schools, such as: the neighborhood playhouse school of theatre, the stella adler studio of acting, and the guildhall school of music and drama.
kaja currently acts, writes, and practices film photography. they spend their free time exploring europe and the west coast’s unceded forests and islands.
